If you’re a Choi Si-won fan, watch “She Was Pretty.” Despite being the second male lead, his character, Shin-hyuk, is endearing and sincere in his feelings for Hwang Jung-eum’s character, Hye-jin. You might even find yourself rooting for him over Park Seo-joon’s Sung-joon.

The series isn’t overly romantic but still offers a pleasant romantic vibe without intimate love scenes.

Although the plot is somewhat predictable and drags in the middle, it’s worth watching to see how far Shin-hyuk goes to pursue Hye-jin. His reference to Hye-jin as his younger sister to cover his true feelings adds a layer of emotional depth.

Choi Si-won’s character is portrayed as the ideal man, making him a standout in the series.

This series, featuring Lee Sun-bin, Han Sun-hwa, and Jung Eun-ji, centers around three women in their 30s who balance their work lives with frequent drinking sessions. Ahn So-hee works a day job in an advertising agency, Han Ji-yeon is a yoga teacher, and Kang Ji-gu is a video content creator specializing in origami. Despite their heavy drinking, they remain responsible in their jobs.

What makes this series appealing is its fast-paced and energetic characters. Each episode is under an hour, and the quick dialogue keeps you engaged. It isn’t a tearjerker but does prompt you to reflect on friendship and life choices.

Choi Si-won’s portrayal adds a hopeful note, portraying a loving, responsible man with a drive for personal growth. If you liked him as the second male lead in “She Was Pretty,” you won’t be disappointed with him in this series.
