I must admit, I haven’t watched part one of this series, so I didn’t have any background knowledge going into it. However, even if you’re in the same boat, you’ll quickly understand who the characters are and what their previous experiences were before the present-day events unfold.

I’m not typically a fan of the money-stealing genre, but seeing familiar faces such as Song Seung-heon, Ha Do-kwon, Kim Won-hae, Jo Sung-ha, Tae In-ho, and Heo Sung-tae — who are regulars in crime dramas — I knew I was in for a treat.

Fast-Paced Storytelling

If you’re watching Crash and feel it’s missing the “Fast &Furious” vibe, you should definitely check out The Player 2. Not only is the storytelling fast-paced but there’s already a lot happening by the 15-minute mark in the first episode. In episode one, the team tried to steal a Buddha masterpiece but failed, then went overseas for another job.

New Challenges and Higher Stakes

They seem to be targeting the bigger players, which will be harder for them to beat. The teams are equipped with teams and established systems, plus more clever con artists, presenting a significant challenge for a group with only four members.

I’m curious about the challenges they faced in the previous season because in this season they don’t seem to have the chops and tend to fall into traps easily. This might sound like a bit of a spoiler, but I have to say, once you start watching, you’ll surely let the next episode play and enjoy the ride.

This is a developing story.
